At our location in Wedel near Hamburg, we are looking for a Global Medical Advisor (all genders) Rheuma­tology.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and know­ledgeable Global Medical Advisor to join our Global Medical Affairs team. In this role, you will contri­bute to the development and execution of medical strate­gies in the field of rheumatology. You will act as a key medical expert, suppor­ting internal and external stake­holders with scientific insights and ensuring the medi­cal accuracy and integrity of all communi­cations and activities.

Your tasks

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of medical strate­gies and tactical plans for assigned focus areas
  • Initiate and execute tactical measures in align­ment with the medical strategy
  • Build and maintain in-depth expertise in desig­nated thera­peutic areas
  • Conduct product-related medical training for internal stake­holders
  • Establish and nurture relationships with exter­nal experts and key opinion leaders
  • Process medical requests
  • Conduct medical evaluations of new product oppor­tunities and provide evidence-based recommen­dations in close coope­ration with Busi­ness & Portfolio Development
  • Manage medical communi­cations with respect to legal and com­pliance require­ments

Your profile

  • Advanced degree in medicine, pharma­cy or life sciences pre­ferred; doctorate (PhD, MD, PharmD) is of advantage
  • Experience in medical affairs or a related scien­tific role within the pharma­ceutical industry
  • Strong analytical and strate­gic thinking skills
  • Communication and collaboration expertise
  • Ability to manage multiple pro­jects and priori­ties in a dynamic environ­ment
